Job Summary
As a Pre-sales Solutions Architect, you will lead end-to-end customer engagements by designing tailored solution architectures, driving technical wins, and translating platform capabilities into business outcomes for senior technology leaders.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and executive presentations to advise enterprise prospects on technical solutions
- Design and present customised solution architectures, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept plans aligned with customer environments
- Collaborate with sales teams to shape deals, secure technical wins, and close complex enterprise opportunities
- Conduct competitive analysis to develop positioning strategies against Red Hat OpenShift, SUSE Rancher, and VMware Tanzu
- Train sales teams on product capabilities, technical differentiators, and effective selling motions
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements to enhance brand presence
- Gather and relay customer and market insights to Product and Engineering teams to influence product roadmap decisions
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, technical consulting, or IT advisory
- Proficiency in English to confidently present to C-level audiences and lead technical workshops
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud computing, Kubernetes, containerization, and enterprise infrastructure
- Proven ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in enterprise pre-sales for platform or infrastructure products such as OpenShift, Rancher, Tanzu, or cloud providers
- Hands-on background in development or operations
- Experience collaborating with partners or channel sales teams
- History of presenting at industry conferences or meetups
