We are looking for an experienced Presales Solution Manager to join a fast-growing technology business at the forefront of Data Centre, AI Infrastructure, GPU Bare Metal and Connectivity solutions. In this client-facing presales role, you'll partner closely with enterprise customers to architect innovative infrastructure solutions, shape commercial proposals, and drive complex technical engagements from opportunity through to delivery.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the region's most advanced AI and data centre projects while influencing solution strategy across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Design Winning Solutions
- Partner with Sales to understand customer business and technical requirements.
- Architect end-to-end Data Centre, AI Infrastructure, Connectivity and Managed Service solutions.
- Design highly competitive technical proposals and pricing models that align with customer requirements and commercial objectives.
- Present technical solutions to enterprise customers and executive stakeholders.
Lead Technical Presales Engagements
- Support customer workshops, technical discussions and solution discovery sessions.
- Evaluate opportunities and provide technical guidance throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Prepare RFP/RFI responses, solution proposals and technical presentations.
- Act as the trusted technical advisor during customer engagements.
AI & GPU Infrastructure
- Design and validate AI infrastructure solutions including GPU Bare Metal environments.
- Support Proof of Concept (POC) engagements and ensure successful implementation criteria are defined.
- Recommend scalable AI infrastructure architectures that meet customer performance requirements.
Commercial & Solution Excellence
- Develop commercially viable pricing strategies while maintaining healthy project margins.
- Work with vendors and technology partners to source managed services and third-party solutions.
- Ensure all proposed solutions are technically feasible, commercially competitive and operationally deliverable.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Delivery, Operations, Facilities, Legal and Product teams to ensure successful project handover.
- Support contract discussions including Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and technical documentation.
- Ensure governance and internal approval processes are followed throughout the sales cycle.
Market & Technology Leadership
- Stay current with emerging trends across Data Centres, AI Infrastructure, Cloud and Connectivity.
- Provide market insights and customer feedback to Product Management teams.
- Track sales pipeline performance, project milestones and proposal turnaround times.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Presales, Solution Consulting or Solution Architecture role.
- Experience within a Data Centre Operator, System Integrator, Cloud Provider or AI Infrastructure environment.
- Proven track record supporting enterprise customers through complex technical sales engagements.
Technical Knowledge
You'll have working knowledge in several of the following:
- Data Centre infrastructure
- AI infrastructure and GPU platforms
- Bare Metal solutions
- Connectivity and Managed Services
- Layer 1-3 networking
- Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) concepts
- Data Centre commissioning and deployment
- Cloud infrastructure and enterprise IT environments
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) is advantageous.
- AI, Cloud or Infrastructure certifications are highly regarded.
