Overview
We are seeking a Presales Solution Architect to support enterprise customers in evaluating and implementing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software solutions. This role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, sales teams, and technical delivery teams, translating customer requirements into scalable solution designs and winning technical proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities and drive technical presales activities.
- Engage customers to understand business challenges, functional requirements, and technical environments.
- Design and present end-to-end solution architectures leveraging COTS platforms and products.
- Conduct solution demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and technical presentations.
- Prepare technical proposals, solution documentation, RFP/RFI responses, and effort estimations.
- Collaborate with product, implementation, and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with customer requirements.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the sales lifecycle and support transition to delivery teams post-award.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Presales, Solution Architecture, Business Consulting, or Enterprise Software implementation.
- Strong experience working with COTS solutions such as ERP, CRM, ECM, ITSM, HRMS, Supply Chain, or Digital Transformation platforms.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise sales cycles, solution presentations, and proposal development.
- Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, cloud platforms, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
- Experience responding to RFPs, RFIs, and large-scale enterprise bids is highly advantageous.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, or similar solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Consulting or system integrator background is preferred.
