Presales Solution Architect

Our client is an IT consulting and digital transformation company that provides enterprise technology solutions, system integration, managed services, cloud, AI, data, and cybersecurity services to public and private sector organisations across Asia.

We are partnering with a leading IT consulting firm to hire a Senior Presales Solutions Architect to lead solution design and technical presales activities across Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and Agency & Tenant Facilities Management (ATFM) initiatives.

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, driving end-to-end solutioning for public sector and enterprise opportunities. You will work closely with sales, delivery, and technology teams to develop innovative, scalable, and compliant cloud and infrastructure solutions while supporting strategic bid and tender submissions.

• Lead end-to-end solution design for GCC, cloud infrastructure, managed services, data centre, and ATFM opportunities.
• Engage customers to understand business challenges and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, implementation approaches, and service designs for bids and tenders.
• Drive technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, ITTs, and government procurement opportunities.
• Design secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions aligned with Singapore Government standards and enterprise best practices.
• Architect cloud migration, hybrid cloud, cloud-native, infrastructure, networking, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and security solutions.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, operations, and technology partners to deliver competitive and commercially viable proposals.
• Prepare solution costing, effort estimation, technical compliance, risk assessments, and implementation assumptions.
• Lead customer presentations, proposal walkthroughs, and tender clarification sessions.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the entire sales lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through contract award and transition to delivery.
• Build strong relationships with customers, cloud providers, technology partners, and key stakeholders.
• Mentor junior presales consultants and solution architects where appropriate.
  
  

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Presales, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
• Experience within a System Integrator (SI), Managed Services Provider (MSP), Cloud Service Provider, or IT Consulting environment.
• Proven experience supporting Singapore Government or large enterprise cloud transformation projects.
• Strong background in responding to government tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and bid management activities.
• Hands-on experience designing enterprise cloud, infrastructure, and managed services solutions.
• Familiarity with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments and Agency & Tenant Facilities Management (ATFM) solutions is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, disaster recovery, and managed services.
• Experience in solution costing, sizing, and effort estimation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and consulting skills.
• Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial considerations in a fast-paced presales environment.
