Job Summary

This role is focused on pre-sales support and providing cybersecurity advisory services to regional end users. While the position is primarily pre-sales, the consultant must have a solid background in SOC operations technical competency to advise customers on security solutions effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements to identify IT security challenges and deliver expert cybersecurity advisory tailored to business needs
  • Develop customized security solution designs and create detailed technical proposals that align with client requirements
  • Demonstrate proof-of-concept (PoC) implementations to validate proposed security solutions and drive client confidence
  • Collaborate with third-party security vendors to evaluate and select optimal security products and services based on supplier quotations and technology trends
  • Provide technical guidance and operational insights on security solutions including SIEM, SOAR, endpoint security, cloud security, and IAM to enhance clients cybersecurity posture
  • Advise clients on improving their security architecture and operational effectiveness through actionable recommendations grounded in SOC operational experience
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging cybersecurity technologies and industry best practices to inform solution development and client consultations
  • Support pre-sales activities by aligning technical capabilities with business objectives to facilitate successful sales outcomes

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT security or cybersecurity pre-sales roles
  • Demonstrated technical competency at L2/L3 SOC operational level to provide effective customer advisory
  • Strong understanding of security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, endpoint security, cloud security, and IAM

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, ISO 27001, CEH, or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English proficiency in Chinese is preferred
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and training sessions
