Presales Engineer (Network)

About the role

Join VSTECS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD., a leading IT distributor, as a Presales Engineer (Network). In this full-time, office-based role in Lavender Central Region, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical support and solutions to help customers select the right IT products and services to meet their needs.

What you'll be doing

1. Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate network solutions
2. Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to customers
3. Collaborate with sales teams to prepare sales proposals and tender responses
4. Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
5. Keep up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
2. 3-5 years of experience in a presales or technical support role in the IT industry
3. Solid understanding of network technologies, including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless solutions
4. Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively liaise with customers
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
6. Problem-solving and analytical skills to understand and address customer needs
