Job Summary
As a Pre-sales Engineer, you will provide technical expertise to support the sales team throughout customer engagements. You will demonstrate the company's platform, assist with technical discussions, prepare pre-sales deliverables, and collaborate with customers and partners globally.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical Q&A, and proof-of-concept support to prospective customers to facilitate understanding of the company's platform
- Prepare pre-sales materials including solution proposals, RFP responses, test reports, and technical collateral to support sales efforts
- Collaborate with the sales team to analyze customer requirements and align them with the company's platform capabilities
- Gather and organise customer and market feedback to inform Product and Engineering teams for continuous improvement
- Participate in partner technical exchanges and industry events to build relationships and stay updated on market trends
- Communicate effectively with international customers using strong written and verbal skills to convey technical information clearly
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical role such as pre-sales, development, operations, or technical support
- Proficiency in English to communicate confidently with international customers
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing, Kubernetes, or container platforms
- Experience in pre-sales, customer-facing consulting, or solution design roles
- Familiarity with mainstream cloud computing products and vendors
- Demonstrated curiosity, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn about cloud-native technologies and modern infrastructure
