Presales Assistant Manager (SCDS/EL/DP)

About the Role

You will be at the forefront of our client engagement efforts, working closely with sales, engineering, consultant and product teams. Your primary responsibility will be to translate complex technical concepts into compelling solutions that meet customer needs and support business growth.

You will play a critical role in shaping proposals, delivering product demonstrations, and providing expert advice and technical leadership during the presales phase. This position demands a thorough understanding of digital platform technologies in smart city operations context and the ability to apply this knowledge to solve real-world challenges faced by our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead presales technical activities including requirement analysis, solution design, and proposal development for digital platform projects.
• Engage collaboratively with customers to understand their business challenges and identify opportunities for tailored digital solutions.
• Conduct compelling product demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations that effectively communicate the value proposition of our technologies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements, product capabilities, and delivery expectations.
• Develop and maintain in-depth technical knowledge of our digital platform products, market trends, and competitor landscape.
• Coach and mentor junior team members to enhance the technical presales capabilities within the organisation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of presales processes and tools to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a presales or technical consulting role, ideally within the digital solutions, smart city, or urban infrastructure sectors.
• Strong engineering background, with a solid understanding of digital platforms, software architecture, integration technologies and ICT.
• Proven ability to articulate complex technical solutions to diverse audiences, including senior executives and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-disciplinary teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications relevant to digital platforms or presales activities are advantageous.
