Job Summary
Lead new customer acquisition and market development initiatives by sourcing potential clients and managing projects from quotation to mass production. Support new product development and technology advancement through research, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with international teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify and source new potential customers to generate new projects and product opportunities for the company
- Collect and analyze customer information locally and overseas to inform business development strategies
- Coordinate customer requirements including quotations, technical specifications, design processes, drawings, sample submissions, and mass production to ensure project success
- Conduct product surveys, research, design trials, and assessments to support new product development initiatives
- Plan, execute, and assess data analysis to advance injection moulding technology and establish moulding technology standards
- Coordinate design and technical issues across affiliated companies and engineering teams in China, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia to ensure alignment and quality
- Manage new project startups and follow up on existing parts to maintain project timelines and deliverables
- Support overseas sales activities by collaborating with international teams and customers
- Serve as the primary contact for customer claims and coordinate resolution to maintain customer satisfaction
- Follow up with trade debtors and perform credit control to support commercial operations
- Conduct general meetings with local and overseas customers to review progress and strengthen relationships
- Prepare and submit monthly reports including Account Receivable (AR), overseas sales forecasts, individual customer forecasts, schedule updates, and new customer/project updates
- Prepare and submit weekly reports on overseas sales and sales activities to keep stakeholders informed
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of related working experience
- Background in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering
- Ability to undertake frequent short overseas business trips to China, Japan, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and work independently with efficiency
