Our client, a global leader in ICT solutioning and OEM manufacturing, is looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer / Manager to provide technical pre-sales support for both enterprise and consumer range products. This role will focus on delivering cost-effective, easy-to-install CCTV and network solutions tailored for SMBs and residential areas. Ideal candidates will have experience in the CCTV or networking industry, preferably from a distributor or system integrator background, and be comfortable with smaller commercial or residential projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pre-sales support for the full range of company products, including CCTV and network technical solutions, focusing on SMBs and residential sectors such as retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, and smart home applications.
- Identify new business opportunities by understanding clients business and technical requirements and offering tailored solutions.
- Promote and present company solutions through technical proposals and presentations, highlighting their cost-effectiveness and suitability for small-scale commercial and residential projects.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless communication and alignment of client requirements with technical solutions.
- Address and resolve technical inquiries, providing expert guidance to clients to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
- Conduct product training sessions for clients to ensure effective use and deployment of solutions.
- Educate clients on the availability and access to products via retail dealers and distributors.
- Design and propose competitive, cost-effective product solutions that meet client needs and align with the company's goals.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in the CCTV or networking industry experienced with clouds managed network products with an understanding of SMB and residential solutions for sectors like retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, and smart homes.
- 1-3 years of experience in CCTV or networking, with a solid understanding of the products and solutions used in these sectors.
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence customers, especially in technical alignment and negotiations.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required as the role involves preparing proposals and providing technical support to Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
- Possession of networking certifications such as CCNA/CCNP is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Comfortable working on smaller commercial or residential projects with less complex requirements.
