About the Role
We are recruiting a Pre-Sales Consultant in Singapore to join our rapidly growing APAC team. You will serve as a technical and solutions expert for data platform implementation and data governance projects, supporting the entire business development process.
Responsibilities
- As a pre-sales expert for data platform (Snowflake, cloud data warehouse/Lakehouse, ETL/ELT, Reverse ETL, Fivetran/Confluent, etc.) and data governance (data catalog, data quality, lineage management, compliance framework, Alation/Collibra-like tools) projects, collaborate with the sales team for opportunity qualification to gain a deep understanding of clients pain points and business objectives in data management, analytics modernization, and AI readiness.
- Independently or lead the design of customized solutions, including technical architecture, implementation roadmap, data governance framework, ROI analysis, and risk assessment; prepare and deliver high-quality RFP/RFI responses, proposals, client demonstrations, POC implementations, and Proof-of-Value workshops.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, system integrators, and strategic partners (Snowflake, Mistral AI, Huawei Cloud, etc.) in the APAC region; participate in industry events and thought leadership content output to enhance Keyrus brand influence.
- Work closely with the delivery team to ensure the feasibility of pre-sales solutions; quickly learn and master emerging technologies and tools (modern data stack, AI data pipeline, data cleanroom, LLM integration, etc.), and share best practices and market insights within the team.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned opportunities and regional/vertical industry projects, proactively driving progress from lead nurturing and solution customization to closing deals, regularly reporting progress, risks, and suggestions to management, and making bold decisions and continuously iterating in uncertain environments.
- Monitor APAC data/AI market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes (Singapore PDPA, Malaysia PDPA, China PIPL, etc.), providing input for regional GTM strategies, product positioning, and sales empowerment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data platform implementation or data governance projects (at least 3 years of in-depth involvement in actual delivery or implementation), familiar with data warehouse/Lakehouse architecture, ETL/ELT processes, and data catalog and governance framework design.
- At least 2 years of experience in data/AI-related pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting (background in consulting firms, data platform vendors, or system integrators preferred).
- Solid knowledge of cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.); understanding of modern data stack toolchains.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills; able to clearly present complex technical solutions to stakeholders at different levels; excellent presentation and business storytelling abilities.
- Strong learning ability: able to quickly master new products, technologies, and methodologies and apply them in real-world projects.
- Strong sense of ownership: highly proactive, results-oriented, and willing to take responsibility; able to independently drive projects and achieve results in a fast-paced, matrix-style environment; willing to make decisions amidst uncertainty and continuously learn. Willing to travel for business in the APAC region and adapt to cross-time zone collaboration.
Bonus Points
- Certifications in Snowflake SnowPro, AWS Certified Data Analytics, Azure Data Engineer, CDMP, or DAMA.
- Experience in data projects within the financial services industry (FSI: banking, insurance, wealth management), or other key vertical industries covered by APAC.
- Familiarity with data governance/observability/integration tools such as Alation, Collibra, Informatica, MonteCarlo, Fivetran, and dbt; or experience in AI/ML data pipelines, vector databases, or LLM integration projects.
- Fluent in Mandarin or a Southeast Asian language (Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, etc.).
- Understanding Singapore's local data regulations and cross-border data flow compliance requirements.
