Job Description

Ensure all electrical works comply with:Project specificationsIndustry standardsRegulatory requirements
Conduct inspections and witness testing activities
Maintain accurate records of:Test resultsCommissioning reportsAs-built documentation
Support audits and client inspections

Act as the electrical focal point on site for installation and commissioning matters
Coordinate with:Construction teamsCommissioning teamsQA/QC and HSE teamsClient and consultants
Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues

Ensure all electrical activities are carried out in compliance with HSE standards
Implement and enforce LOTO procedures during testing and energisation
Identify and mitigate risks associated with electrical works
Promote a strong safety culture on site

Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in electrical installation and commissioning within power projects
Strong hands-on experience with:LV/MV/HV switchgearPower transformers
Experience in:Testing & commissioning proceduresProtection relay testing and configuration
Familiarity with tools such as:PCM600 / DIGSI / MiCOM or equivalent
Ability to read and interpret:Single Line Diagrams (SLD)Protection schematicsElectrical layouts
Experience working on site-based power or substation projects
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to represent the company on-site
