We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Power Platform Developer (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate) to join us on a 6-month contract (non-renewable) based in Singapore. In this role, you will work closely with our dynamic IT team and regional stakeholders across markets. This position is offered through an agency and will be fully integrated into our IT operations and play a key role in delivering innovative digital solutions that support and enhance business operations.
In this role, you will:
- Design, build, and maintain robust business solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective digital solutions
- Drive end-to-end delivery—from requirements gathering and wireframing to development, deployment, and ongoing support
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture & Business Analysis
- Engage directly with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conceptualize and finalize application wireframes and data structure requirements.
- Perform cost calculations and propose realistic project implementation timelines.
2. Development & Integration
- Design, create, and configure the information architecture within SharePoint Online, including sites, lists, and document libraries.
- Develop intuitive user interfaces in Power Apps, integrating them seamlessly with SharePoint data sources.
- Write, configure, and optimize complex formulas using Power Fx.
- Define workflow logic and build automation flows in Power Automate (including sequential/parallel workflow approvals, automated notifications, and reminders).
3. Testing, Deployment & Training
- Conduct rigorous unit and developer testing to ensure solution stability.
- Support stakeholders throughout User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementing changes, bug fixes, and refinements based on user feedback.
- Manage production deployment, technical implementation, and deliver comprehensive training to application owners.
4. Administration, Security & Maintenance
- Manage user permission structures within both SharePoint Online site and Power Apps to ensure data security.
- Oversee SharePoint Online profile management related to application processes.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve unexpected behaviors, Power Automate flow failures, bug fixes, and connection issues to ensure high availability
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this Role
- Delivery Timelines: Ability to accurately estimate and meet proposed implementation timelines.
- Solution Reliability: Low rate of post-deployment bugs and swift resolution of Power Automate flow failures.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Positive feedback during UAT and successful adoption of the application by the trained application owners.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in Sharepoint Application development.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience developing low-code/no-code solutions within the Microsoft 365 suite, specifically SharePoint Online, Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven), and Power Automate (Cloud Flows).
- Proficiency in Power Fx: Strong capability in writing and debugging Power Fx formulas for complex logic and data manipulation.
- Data Modeling: Solid understanding of relational data structures, indexing, and delegation limits within SharePoint lists and libraries.
- UI/UX Skills: Experience in wireframing and designing user-friendly interfaces.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to estimate project costs, map out development timelines, and translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and conduct training to application owner.
- Highly motivated independent worker with minimum guidance required.
- Ability to work in an international and intercultural context.
