Job Description:

As a Power Electronics Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive instruction on fundamental concepts in power electronics. Your role will involve equipping students with a strong understanding of power electronics principles and applications complying with Singapore's Electricity Act, and a strong foundation in electrical installation in various locations.

Job Responsibilities:

. Conduct engaging and interactive lessons on power electronics fundamentals.

. Explain complex concepts clearly and accurately, catering to varying levels of expertise among students.

. Cover key principles and theories in power electronics

. Illustrate practical applications of power electronics in terms of electrical installation in various places

. Clearly deliver and practice Singapore Electricity Act during teaching and practical

. Foster a supportive learning environment conducive to student engagement and participation.

. Provide guidance and support to students, addressing questions and clarifying doubts effectively.

. Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and other evaluation methods.

. Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in power electronics research and technology.

. Set questions to test students understanding and conduct examinations if necessary.

. Conduct remote synchronous/asynchronous lessons through video conferencing tools or online platforms if necessary.

Requirements:

. Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related field.

. Strong understanding of power electronics concepts, theories, and applications will be advantageous.

. Familiarity with relevant power electronics tools, software, and resources.

. Excellent risk awareness and safety-minded practices when doing relevant hands-on

. Previous teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.

. On-site training will be provided.

. University fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.

Working Hours:

3 - 6 Hours per week.

Weekday evenings or weekends.
