Seeking experienced Power BI Developers for a 1year contract engagement. The candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining BI reports and dashboards, and providing actionable insights that support strategic business decisionmaking. The role requires strong capabilities in data management, analysis, and visualization using Power BI, DAX, data modelling, and related BI technologies.
The candidate should possess solid technical expertise in databases, data integration, and business intelligence platforms, along with the ability to interpret and evaluate business requirements. Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Transform raw data into meaningful insights using Power BI and DAX.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Optimize Power BI datasets, models, and reports for performance and scalability.
- Implement appropriate data security, governance, and access controls.
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of BI solutions.
- Integrate Power BI with various enterprise data sources and systems.
- Provide training and user support for Power BI tools and solutions.
- Stay current with the latest Power BI features, enhancements, and best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of BI processes, models, and solutions.
Skills & Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of handson experience with Power BI, including strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and visualization best practices.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL, and database management concepts.
- Experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources, including Oracle, Excel, and other enterprise systems.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet delivery timelines.
- Domain knowledge in insurance, particularly in underwriting, claims, actuarial, and finance functions.
- Prior experience developing data analytics or BI solutions for reinsurance is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, problemsolving, and stakeholdermanagement abilities.
