The Job

Research-driven. Articulate. Highly organised. Hands-on.

We are looking for Postgraduate Research Fellows who can support the design and delivery of DEC's global Working Groups and contribute to the development of world-class research publications.

This is a hands-on role that combines research, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and project coordination. You will help guide Working Groups from initial design and discussion through to the development and publication of their final outputs.

You will work closely with the research team, Working Group Chairs, and senior leaders from DEC's international member institutions.

This is a remote role. We are looking for candidates in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.

Time commitment: approximately 12h per week.

Responsibilities Include

• Support the planning and delivery of DEC Working Groups
• Facilitate online sessions and support productive discussion among participants
• Conduct research and analyse contributions from Working Group delegates
• Develop agendas, guiding documents, discussion materials, and other session resources
• Prepare meeting minutes, synthesise key insights, propose next steps
• Coordinate communication and follow-up with Working Group Chairs and delegates
• Draft Working Group final reports, coordinate review cycles, incorporate feedback, and support publication

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Phd or master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Education, Humanities, Social Sciences)
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Confidence engaging with senior academic and institutional stakeholders
• Proactive, dependable, and highly detail-oriented
• Interest in higher education, education technology, AI, or public policy
