We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct cutting-edge research in AI-enabled modelling and design of microwave and RF devices. The successful candidate will develop advanced physics-assisted modelling techniques to accelerate and improve the robustness of the analysis, optimization, modelling and inverse design of microwave components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent and collaborative research on AI-based modelling and design of microwave and RF devices.

  • Perform electromagnetic simulation, design, fabrication, and experimental validation of microwave and RF components.

  • Develop physics-assisted AI/ML methods to accelerate and improve the robustness of microwave device modelling and inverse design.

  • Publish research outcomes in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences.

  • Assist in supervising PhD students, junior Research Assistants, and Master students.

  • Contribute to grant applications, project reports, and laboratory operations.

Job Requirements:

  • A PhD (or pending conferment) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline.

  • At least 3 years of relevant research experience in microwave and RF device modelling and design.

  • Strong background in computational electromagnetics and electromagnetic simulation techniques.

  • Experience in AI-based RF transistor modelling is highly desirable.

  • Solid knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application to microwave device modelling and design.

  • Experience in AI-based RF transistor modelling is highly desirable.

  • Excellent publication record in AI-enabled microwave and RF device modelling.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and lead research projects.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
