As an Onboarding Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the APAC Asset Management Business and collaborate in a dynamic environment with stakeholders, custodians and technology partners to deliver the best outcomes to the clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and execution of all onboarding activities relating to Client Mandate and Product Onboardings, Off-boardings or Strategy changes.
  • Manage all lifecycle events including mergers, benchmark changes and custody changes.
  • Participate in working group calls to ensure smooth transition of Onboarding events, provide timely status updates and escalation where needed.
  • Work closely with the internal stakeholders and custodians for onboardings and lifecycle events to determine the account, market, instruments and tax requirements.
  • Work with the custodian to request for relevant custody/market accounts, swift linkages and FX arrangements.
  • Responsible for reviewing custody account opening forms and provide timely responses.
  • Perform asset transfers related to the onboardings, off-boardings and lifecycle events.
  • Perform reconciliation on the related onboardings and life-cycle events and resolve them.
  • Contribute to process improvement, identifying and supporting enhancements in onboarding.

Your team

You'll be working in the Singapore Asset Management office amongst the key stakeholders as part of the APAC Onboarding Team.

Your expertise

  • Minimum 2 years in banking or client service role or a related asset management function.
  • Understanding of Asset Management Business and products, financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, OTC etc).
  • Basic understanding of Onboarding processes.
  • Bachelor in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Written & Spoken).
  • Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and Teams.
