Portfolio Manager

Venture Search is partnered with a high-performing proprietary trading firm with almost a decade of experience. This opportunity would involve joining the firm headquartered in Singapore.

The firm is seeming for portfolio managers or seasoned senior traders that have a proven history of creating and implementing strategies within Commodity Derivatives. The ideal candidate will have a track record of +5 years, generating a minimum of $3M in yearly PnL.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a track record in prop-style firm trading. Both fully systematic and fundamental strategies are considered.

Role and responsibilities:

• Independently oversee a considerable capital allocation by designing, executing, and tracking in MFT strategies
• Enforce rigorous risk management practices, continually evaluating the validity of all positions and investment theories.
• Collaborate effectively with the broader team, gaining insights and contributing value through shared knowledge and expertise.
• Ensure strict adherence to all industry regulations, rules, and internal company policies.

Experience:

• +5 years of experience trading within Commodity (energy, metals, ags) derivatives
• Demonstrated track record, achieving a minimum of $3M PnL p/y
• +2 Sharpe
• Established knowledge in relevant industries, along with risk management methods for Commodity derivative portfolios
• Experience executing mid-frequency trading strategies within a buy-side environment
