Portfolio Manager of a fund trading in long-short cryptocurrencies and decentralised finance
Job knowledge and experience:
At least 10 years financial markets experience in the financial services sector, preferably in the cryptocurrency space 3 - 5 years managing funds and trading cryptocurrencies and digital asset
Track record of managing funds and portfolios with AuM of at least S$15 - 20 million
Experience in conducting due diligence on investment opportunities
Past work experience should include working with asset management firms, multi-family offices or Tier 1 investment banks
Job description:
- Singapore-based investment manager with cryptocurrencies and digital assets markets experience
- Independently manage a cryptocurrency fund within fund, risk and regulatory mandates
- Seek and acquire investment opportunities and conduct investment due diligence on such opportunities
- Monitor and track investment returns and report monthly or quarterly performance
- Follow and analyse macro and micro financial data
- Continuously maintain high knowledge of economical and political situation
- Pro-actively participates in investment management process
- Ability to communicate in Japanese (spoken and written) is required as the role involves regular interaction with Japanese-speaking clients.
OTHER JOB DUTIES
- Preparing the attribution reports for the fund on a monthly basis.
- Provide regular updates to the Board and support asset management reporting requirements
- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities, including conducting thorough due diligence
