Role Overview:
The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for crafting investment packages, managing client and fund expectations, and achieving company goals while mitigating risks to build a successful APAC data centre platform. The role involves detailed analysis, documentation of processes, and oversight of day-to-day portfolio assignments and business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute investment strategies aligned with company goals, risk appetite, and market conditions.
- Manage and optimize portfolios, including new data centre investments (brownfield, greenfield, acquisitions).
- Evaluate and streamline business processes, driving automation, modernization, and efficiency improvements.
- Conduct analysis, presentations, and stakeholder engagement to align investments with broader strategy.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risks, and market trends, adjusting strategies to maximize IRR.
- Oversee asset management, forecasting CAPEX/OPEX budgets while ensuring resiliency and client SLAs.
- Research industries, companies, and partnership opportunities; identify potential acquisitions or takeover candidates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, investor disclosures, and risk management frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, investment strategy, or related fields.
- Strong background in data centre investments, infrastructure, or real assets preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex portfolios and deliver optimal returns.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Proficient in Mandarin
