Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate hotel vehicles for the transportation and delivery of food, ingredients, supplies, equipment and other goods between hotel outlets, kitchens, warehouses and external locations.
- Collect and receive deliveries from vendors and suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of items received.
- Deliver food products, catering items, ingredients and other operational supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with loading, unloading, lifting and transporting goods, equipment and materials.
- Support the receiving, storage and distribution of inventory and supplies across various hotel departments.
- Ensure proper handling of food products and perishable items in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness, ensuring all vehicles are in good operating condition.
- Report vehicle defects, maintenance requirements, accidents or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
- Assist with porter duties, including movement of goods, equipment, furnishings and other operational items as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, vehicle usage and relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations, safety procedures and company policies.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Culinary team
Job Requirements
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 Driving Licence with a good driving record.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in driving, logistics, delivery, transportation or hospitality operations.
- Familiarity with Singapore roads and routes.
- Physically fit and able to carry, lift and transport goods and supplies.
- Responsible, reliable and safety-conscious with a strong work ethic.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
- Able to comply with food hygiene, safety and operational standards.
- Basic literacy skills for maintaining delivery records and documentation.
