Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and steer harbour craft within Singapore port limits in compliance with MPA regulations.
  • Ensure safe navigation, berthing, and unberthing of the vessel for passenger and crew transfers.
  • Transport ship agents, pilots, seafarers, and ship provisions between shore and anchored vessels.
  • Use navigational equipment and aids to verify courses and ensure safe operations.
  • Monitor weather, tide, and current conditions for safe vessel handling.
  • Operate onboard safety and firefighting equipment as required.
  • Follow International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs), including rules on lights, shapes, and sound signals.
  • Perform basic chartwork and maintain route accuracy.
  • Understand and comply with MPA procedures, Port Marine Circulars, and Notices.
  • Communicate effectively with crew and authorities via radio, phone, and email, and report potential issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant working experiences in Marine Industry
  • Valid Manning Licence and Certificates
