Policy Specialist, Legal Content Policy and Standards, (Japanese, English)

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in a policy, legal, regulatory environment, content review, Trust and Safety, or technology environment.
• Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
• Ability to work non-standard, on-call rotation work hours, including weekends.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in technology industry business areas, such as operations, data analysis, and internet/online media.
• Knowledge of the socio-political landscape and current events in Japan.
• Knowledge of the technology sector, its trends, and policy issues affecting the internet (e.g., intellectual property, free expression, online safety).
• Ability to execute analysis to drive development.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with cross-functional partners and problem-solving and thinking skills with attention to detail in an ever-changing environment.
