This role focuses on developing and driving policies to strengthen Singapore's anti-scam ecosystem and network defence capabilities across infocomm and internet platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring Singapore remains at the forefront of combating scams through effective regulatory strategies and cross-border collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

. Collaborate with government agencies and industry stakeholders to implement effective measures against scam calls, messages, and other digital threats.

. Support the development and execution of strategies to engage international regulators and facilitate cross-border cooperation to tackle scams at their source.

. Conduct horizon scanning on emerging anti-scam technologies, trends, and network defence measures, and assess their impact on regulatory and market policies.

. Provide policy advisory support to internal business units on existing frameworks and new policy areas within the telecommunications and media landscape.

. Organise and provide secretariat support for workgroups, committees, and industry forums.

Requirements

. Background in Computer Science, Social Sciences, Mass Communications, Legal Studies, or a related field.

. Minimum 2 years of experience in operations policy, public policy, or technology policy roles within the public or private sector. (Job grade will be commensurate with experience.)

. Strong interest in anti-scam initiatives, with a good understanding of telecommunications operators and internet service provider ecosystems.

. Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management, and written communication skills.

. Experience in public policy development, horizon scanning, or strategic futures work will be an advantage.
