Role Overview
My client is looking for a driven professional to evaluate and shape policies in the telecommunications, media, and postal sectors. This role involves analysing market trends, assessing competition, and ensuring effective implementation of regulatory frameworks to support a fair and dynamic industry.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Development
- Analyse regulatory and competition issues in telecom, media, and post/parcel sectors.
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop well-informed policy recommendations.
Policy Implementation & Enforcement
- Implement regulatory frameworks and ensure compliance across the sectors.
- Investigate potential breaches and take appropriate enforcement action when necessary.
Competition Assessment
- Review competition matters, including mergers and acquisitions, under applicable codes.
Regulatory Frameworks
- Evaluate, maintain, and enhance legislation and policies to achieve strategic objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant experience in telecom, media, postal, or related sectors.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, analytical, and creative problem-solver.
- Results-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and skilled in stakeholder engagement.
- Independent, collaborative, and comfortable contributing to cross-functional projects.
