Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Head of Projects & Operation directly, you will be responsible to:-

· Manage and motivate a team of Admin Officers, oversee and ensure the smooth daily operation of the Policy Administration Department

· Assist to handle new businesses and renewals endorsements for Personal and Commercial Lines, according to stipulated turnaround time and Company's service standards

· Develop new products and enhance workflow process in our core front and back end systems, PAS and AS400

· Involve in the scheduling and implementation of different projects, e.g. upgrade of phone and outbound systems, website enhancements, UAT system development and testing, setup of Business Continuity Plan

· Work closely with all department heads on the projects priorities and provide a holistic overview and advice on the business impact of each project on the systems

· Develop website online business for other personal lines products such as Motor and Home Contents

· Ongoing review of the Company's standard procedures and improve efficiency and effectiveness of work processes

· Provide training to staff to improve the accuracy and quality of work output

· Prepare monthly management reports and assist to gather quarterly presentation materials for board meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Business Studies/Administration or any relevant discipline, additional GI certificates will be advantageous.
  • At least 10 years of policy processing experience in a fast-paced work environment preferably in direct general insurance industry
  • Proficient in MS Office (Words and Excel), hands-on experience with AS400 data input system will be preferred
  • Dynamic, energetic, self-motivated and multi-tasked
  • Strong project and time management skills, able to understand systems quickly
  • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
