We are looking to hire an PMO / Project Support Specialist to support our client in Singapore which is a leading global investment bank. The incumbent will join the International Technology and Global Payments Solutions Technology (ITGPST) organization. This role sits at the heart of the CIO organization, supporting portfolio governance, executive reporting, and strategic communications across a diverse set of technology initiatives.
You will work closely with senior technology leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination across portfolio initiatives, application management (business-as-usual), and regional application development efforts. This is a high-visibility role requiring strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Governance & PMO Support
- Coordinate and manage portfolio governance routines, including regular reporting cycles and executive forums
- Consolidate project and portfolio updates to support governance reviews and leadership decision-making
- Track portfolio performance across initiatives, ensuring alignment with timelines, priorities, and deliverables
- Support reporting on financials, headcount, and operational activities
Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Serve as a central point of contact for the CIO organization, engaging with stakeholders across all levels
- Collaborate closely with Technology Workstream Leads to track progress, ensure alignment, and drive timely execution
- Facilitate regular check-ins to validate updates, gather inputs, and ensure reporting accuracy
- Proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies
Executive Communications
- Develop high-quality, visually compelling communication materials aligned with corporate standards
- Translate complex technical updates into clear, concise narratives for senior executives
- Prepare and deliver:
- Bi-weekly portfolio updates
- Monthly leadership meeting materials
- Quarterly performance reports and dashboards
- Executive presentations and ad hoc communications
- Internal communications such as newsletters and technology updates
Reporting & Insights
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of all reporting outputs
- Conduct due diligence checks with stakeholders to validate information before executive distribution
- Monitor progress of portfolio initiatives and highlight key insights, trends, and risks
- Provide actionable reporting to support data-driven decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Communications, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in PMO, portfolio reporting, or executive communications roles
- 5-7 years of experience in banking, financial services, or consulting
- Prior experience in corporate or marketing communications within a financial institution is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling ability for executive audiences
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Office tools
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across seniority levels
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Technical & Domain Exposure
- Familiarity with collaboration and project tools such as Confluence, JIRA, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365
- Ability to quickly build understanding of Global Payments Solutions Technology (or similar domains)
