PLUMBER

Job Description

• Perform plumbing installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting works.
• Install, repair, and maintain water supply and drainage systems.
• Install and maintain pipes, valves, pumps, fittings, sanitary fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
• Identify and repair water leaks, blockages, pipe damage, and other plumbing faults.
• Conduct regular inspection of plumbing systems and identify potential problems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Attend to plumbing breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests.
• Read and understand basic plumbing drawings and layouts.
• Use plumbing tools, equipment, and testing instruments safely and correctly.
• Ensure completed plumbing works meet the required quality and safety standards.
• Carry out testing of repaired or newly installed plumbing systems.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the work area after completing each job.
• Report plumbing defects, maintenance issues, and required materials to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with other technicians, contractors, and site personnel when required.
• Follow company procedures, workplace safety requirements, and site regulations.
• Keep plumbing tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Perform other duties related to plumbing and maintenance as assigned.

Job requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant plumbing experience.
• Relevant plumbing qualification or technical certification
• Good knowledge of plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Able to identify plumbing faults and carry out troubleshooting.
• Familiar with common plumbing tools, materials, fittings, and equipment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Responsible, punctual, and hardworking.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable working on-site.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
• Willing to attend emergency or urgent maintenance works when necessary.
