PLUMBER

Key Responsibilities

• Installation: Setting up new plumbing systems, pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures in new constructions or renovations.
• Maintenance & Repair: Fixing leaks, clearing blockages, servicing water heaters, and replacing broken parts.
• Inspection & Diagnostics: Identifying plumbing issues using tools and diagnosing problems with water, gas, and drainage lines.
• Code Compliance: Ensuring all work meets local and national building codes and safety regulations.
• Customer Interaction: Communicating with clients, providing estimates, and explaining solutions.
• Documentation: Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent.

Typical Duties

• Cutting, threading, bending, and joining pipes (copper, PVC, etc.).
• Installing and repairing appliances like dishwashers and washing machines.
• Working with blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
• Responding to emergency call-outs for issues like burst pipes or sewer backups.
