Senior PLC Software/ PLC Software Engineer (Automation and Control, PLC)

Roles
- Design and develop software for automated equipment
- Maintain, review and improve legacy codes
- Troubleshoot issues with existing installed systems
- Write user manuals to describe the functionality of the developed programs
- Liaise with the customer on requirements and create specifications based on these requirements.
Requirements
- Degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronic engineering/Computer science or related discipline
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the automation industry
- Proficient in PC based programming (e.g. Visual C#)
- Familiar with PLC programming (e.g. Omron/Beckhoff)
- Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators (e.g. IAI, AD Link)
- Familiar with vision systems (e.g. Cognex)
- Willing to learn and adapt a new technology quickly
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer site
