Overview
You will develop the required platform automations, processes, toolchain and policies/best practices to enable government agencies to develop, deploy and operate government services on the cloud in an agile yet secure manner.
Responsibilities:
- Design, engineer, and automate the lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, treating infrastructure as software.
- Develop robust automation for cluster provisioning, upgrades, and scaling using Ansible, Terraform, or Python.
- Implement and maintain OpenShift components such as OVN-Kubernetes networking and OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) storage.
- Engineer reliability and performance optimizations to ensure high availability of the container platform.
- Implement GitOps workflows for cluster configuration management.
Requirements:
- Experience: Intermediate: 3+ years
- Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes internals.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash or Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Knowledge of storage (Ceph/ODF) and networking (SDN, OVN) in a containerized environment.
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools.
