Platform Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Middleware SystemsEngineer to play a pivotal role in modernizing and standardizing our supplychain technology stack. You will be responsible for designing, implementing,and maintaining middleware solutions that facilitate seamless communication anddata exchange between:

. MiddlewareArchitecture: Support the designing andimplementation of a robust and scalable middleware architecture that addressesthe challenges of fragmented systems, integration issues, and legacyinfrastructure.

. SystemIntegration: Develop and manageintegrations between WMS, SAP, TMS, DBP, WES, and other relevant systems toensure efficient data flow and process automation.

. MessageExchange: Enablereliable and secure message exchanges between systems using appropriatemessaging protocols and technologies.

. Collaboration: Workclosely with the business units and project managers, IT team, external vendorsand other stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensuresuccessful implementation.

. Monitoringand Troubleshooting: Implementmonitoring and logging mechanisms to proactively identify and resolve issues.

. PerformanceOptimization: Continuously optimizethe performance and scalability of the middleware infrastructure.

. TechnologyEvaluation: Stay abreast ofemerging middleware technologies and evaluate their potential for improving oursupply chain operations.

. ProfessionalInsight: Providetechnical advice to project managers/leaders and give technical direction toteam members.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

. Bachelor'sor Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

. 5-7years of experience in middleware systems engineering or a similar role.

. CertifiedMulesoft or equivalent middleware tools.

. Strongunderstanding of middleware concepts, integration patterns, and messagingprotocols.

. Hands-onexperience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Apache Kafka,Boomi, orsimilar.

. Experiencewith Grocery and supply chain platforms like ERP, WMS, is a plus.

. Excellentproblem-solving and analytical skills.

. Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.

. Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills.
