Platform Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern platform solutions that empower development teams with seamless, self-service access to scalable and secure runtime environments. You will play a key role in enhancing developer productivity, platform reliability, and operational excellence through automation and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain modern platform solutions that enable fast, frictionless, and self-service access to runtime environments.
• Partner closely with software engineering teams to co-design platform capabilities and deliver an exceptional developer experience.
• Build and enhance intelligent automation solutions for platform operations, deployments, monitoring, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of platform services through proactive reliability and resilience engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges while providing consultative support to stakeholders and minimizing business disruptions.
• Identify technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and scalability concerns, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate platform maturity and reliability.
• Contribute to platform standards, best practices, and governance to support enterprise-scale operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing, containerization, and orchestration technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and their integration within CI/CD workflows.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience working within .NET/Windows environments, including IIS setup and administration, and/or Java/JBoss ecosystems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release automation, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and drive change.
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures, platform engineering practices, and developer self-service platforms.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and governance principles within cloud environments.
• Experience with modern observability and monitoring tools.
