Platform Cloud Engineer - Elite Hedge Fund

Our client is looking for a cloud and platform engineer to design and maintain mission-critical platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure overall health, performance and availability of Google Cloud environments
• Deployment of new platforms and features for continuous improvement and transition to a cloud-native environment
• Develop tools to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor applications and services
  • Work closely with development team for platform design

Job Requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematics
• Developer Background with experience in one or more of C++, Java, Python or Gelang
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering or Cloud Enablement role
• Strong competency with Google Cloud APIs and products, managing containerised environments in Terraform
• Deep knowledge of Cloud landing zone core constructs (account structure, VPCs, SCPs, IAMs, etc), best practices, controls, networking considerations
• Prior experience with relevant cloud-related open-source project is a big plus
