We are looking for a Day 2 Platform Administrator (Qlik Sense & Qlik NPrinting) to manage post-go-live operations of enterprise BI and reporting platforms.
This role focuses on ensuring Qlik platforms remain stable, secure, and compliant across multiple environments, including regulated and air-gapped on-premises setups. You will support ongoing operations, user access, reporting workflows, and platform performance within a consulting delivery environment.
Provide Day 2 operational support for Qlik Sense Enterprise and Qlik NPrinting, including core services such as Engine, Proxy, Scheduler, Repository, and NPrinting components
Monitor platform health, availability, and performance across Qlik environments and supporting infrastructure
Perform routine system checks including service monitoring, reload task tracking, and report distribution validation
Support platform upgrades, patches, and hotfixes in line with change management processes
Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including access control, security rules, roles, and permissions
Configure streams, spaces, data connections, and reporting access for projects and users
Set up and manage NPrinting users, report distribution lists, and scheduling configurations
Maintain accurate records of access and entitlements across platforms
Handle service requests such as access changes, configuration updates, report setup, and operational queries
Support change requests including platform configuration updates, reload schedule tuning, and system enhancements
Participate in impact assessments, implementation planning, and post-change validation
Ensure all changes follow ITSM processes and governance standards
Perform platform housekeeping including log management, database maintenance, storage monitoring, and license reviews
Monitor reload tasks and report schedules, troubleshoot failures, and resolve performance issues
Support backup and restore procedures and contribute to disaster recovery readiness
Maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and support audit and compliance activities
Operate in secure, air-gapped environments with strict access and control measures
Enforce security standards across Qlik Sense and NPrinting platforms
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and governance teams to resolve issues
Ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements
Work closely with project managers, BI teams, and client stakeholders across multiple projects
Escalate risks, incidents, and operational issues in a timely manner
Contribute to continuous improvement of platform operations and processes
Minimum 2 years of experience in platform administration, production support, or operations for Qlik Sense, Qlik NPrinting, or similar BI platforms
Strong experience with Qlik Sense administration (QMC, security rules, streams, spaces, data connections, reload tasks)
Hands-on experience with Qlik NPrinting (report scheduling, distribution, engine management, user configuration)
Familiarity with Active Directory or LDAP for authentication and access management
Experience with Windows Server environments and service administration
Basic understanding of PostgreSQL and database connectivity troubleshooting
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk
Knowledge of ITSM processes including incident, service request, and change management
Experience working in on-premises or air-gapped environments
Ability to follow SOPs, runbooks, and operational procedures
Strong troubleshooting skills across BI platforms, reporting workflows, and system performance
Experience in regulated environments such as public sector, financial services, or healthcare
Exposure to high-security or air-gapped systems
Familiarity with Qlik Sense APIs for automation and administration
Understanding of multi-node architecture, load balancing, and high availability setups
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation
Exposure to QlikView or similar BI tools
Knowledge of license management models and usage monitoring
Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter
