Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Plant Operator Cum Technician for water and wastewater treatment plants with strong hands-on experience in rotating equipment service and repair.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor RO, IWWT, and PCW systems
- Perform HMI / SCADA operations and control panel handling
- Manage shift operations, plant maintenance, and servicing
- Carry out hands-on servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment: Pumps Blowers Compressors
- Handle chemical dosing systems and aeration processes
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Monitor plant through gauges, alarms, and indicators
- Collect and test water samples as per SOP/WI
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Identify issues and implement immediate corrective actions
- Maintain daily logs, weekly and monthly reports
- Conduct site inspections and audits
- Support team coordination and supervision
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Mandatory Requirement (Critical):
- Strong hands-on experience in rotating equipment service and repair is a MUST
- Experience in: Pump overhaul & alignment Blower servicing Mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently on equipment faults
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in water & wastewater treatment plants
- Knowledge of: PLC / SCADA / control panels Dosing systems & aeration
- Strong safety knowledge
- Able to work shift operations
- Good team coordination and problem-solving skills
