Plant Maintenance Technician (CNC Machining/PLC/M&E System) LT92

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspection, servicing, and maintenance of equipment including motors, pumps, transmission systems, and production machinery to ensure optimal performance.

• Inspect and assess the functionality and condition of production equipment.

• Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical and electrical breakdowns in a timely manner.

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and safety checks.

• Manage and execute outsourced service contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and service standards.

• Liaise closely with the production team to support operations and maintain a safe, clean working environment.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

• Support and contribute to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

• Perform installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation (preferred).

• Carry out any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Hands-on experience with industrial equipment and production machinery.

• Experience with PLC systems (installation, programming, troubleshooting) is an advantage.

• Familiar with local HSE regulations and safety standards.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.

• Able to work overtime and be on 24/7 standby for emergency call-outs when required.

• Possess good project coordination or management skills is a plus.
