Your Role

As an SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Consultant, you will deliver SAP PM solutions across implementations and support, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and user support. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions while ensuring integration, system stability, and adherence to best practices.

As an SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Senior Consultant, you will lead end-to-end SAP PM implementations, driving solution design, integration, and high-quality delivery with a high level of autonomy. You will also mentor junior team members, manage stakeholder engagements, and contribute to continuous improvement across client and internal initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

a. Lead and manage SAP PM implementations and enhancements across the full project lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

b. Engage stakeholders to gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and translate them into effective solution designs and technical specifications.

c. Configure, support, and optimize SAP PM functionalities, including EquipmentMaster, Functional Locations, Maintenance Plans, Work Orders, Notifications, TaskLists, and measuring points.

d. Provide expert-level troubleshooting and application support, ensuring system stability and performance throughout the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC).

e. Drive integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, QM, FI/CO) and ensure seamless data flow across SAP and non-SAP systems.

f. Maintain system governance by managing user access, documentation, and testing standards, ensuring adherence to best practices.

g. Facilitate workshops, conduct user training, gather requirements, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and translate business needs into system solutions.

h. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects effectively while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

About you

YourKnowledge, Skills and Qualification

a. Strong functional expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and its integration with other SAP modules.

b. Solid understanding of maintenance processes and asset lifecycle management, including preventive and corrective maintenance.

c. In-depth knowledge of core PM components (Equipment, FunctionalLocations, Maintenance Notifications, Work Orders, Task Lists, and MaintenancePlans) and their underlying data structures and tables.

d. Proven experience in integrating SAP PM with modules such as MM, QM, PP, FI/CO.

e. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

f. Analytical, proactive, and able to deliver in fast-paced project environments.

g. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition is highly recommended.

h. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

i. SAP certifications or other relevant professional qualifications are advantageous, though not mandatory.

Your Experience

a. For PM Consultants: Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP PM functional implementation and/or support experience, with at least 3 full-cycle (end-to-end) implementations.

b. For Senior PM Consultants: Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consulting or vendor environment, with at least 5full-cycle implementations.

c. Strong functional knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and its integration with other SAP modules.

d. Hands-on experience in SAP PM configuration and implementation.

e. Proven track record in delivering end-user training and driving user adoption of SAP PM solutions.

f. Strong exposure to maintenance environments such as manufacturing, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries.

g. Practical expertise in maintenance notifications, work order management, preventive maintenance, and equipment management.

h. Experience working with system integrations and managing interfaces between SAP and external applications.

i. Exposure to regional or global template rollouts is an advantage.

j. Hands-on experience with business role setup (authorizations) and data migration activities (e.g., data mapping, cleansing, validation, and load execution).

k. Willingness to travel regionally and globally for project implementations and rollouts.
