We are seeking a plant & equipment specialist to manage themaintenance and upkeep of process plant and building. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, sound planning and management capabilities, and excellent problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance and upkeep of process plant equipment and building facilities to minimize downtime and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and safety requirements.
- Develop and implement asset management and preventive maintenance plans to optimize equipment performance.
- Provide support to plant operations, troubleshooting operationalissues and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and support continuousimprovement in plant reliability and efficiency.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum Polytechnic Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in plant maintenance or equipment management roles.
- Prior industrial experience and regional exposure will be an advantage.
- Strong capabilities in communication, coordination, and project management.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese to communicate with Chinese speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Willingness to be posted to project sites when required.
This is a 6 months contract position with opportunity to extend upon review.
