We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to support refinery/turnaround projects at Pulau Bukom. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain integrated project schedules for engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction activities.
- Prepare detailed work plans and monitor progress against baseline schedules.
- Manage project schedules and resource loading using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules and recommend recovery plans for delays.
- Coordinate with project teams to gather actual progress data and update forecasts.
- Identify critical path activities and highlight potential risks impacting timelines.
- . Prepare and present periodic progress reports to management and clients.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical) or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably refinery or turnaround projects.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) and project scheduling principles.
- Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Willing to work on-site at Pulau Bukom.
