Job Title: Planning Director, Client Experience & Leadership
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
An accomplished Planning Director who will takes ownership of some of the key client relationships we have in the region and is primarily responsible in leading the strategic growth and planning excellence while overseeing the activation delivery of these accounts.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY
1. Strategic Leadership
- Lead the development of annual and campaign media strategies that connect brand and performance objectives.
- Translate client briefs (business objectives and goals) into data-driven strategy frameworks with actionable KPIs
- Develop and execute full-funnel media plans across digital and traditional channels, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Partner with our strategy, data, activation and creative teams to develop integrated, insight-led campaigns, driving strategic media recommendations and identify opportunities to enhance campaign performance
- Drive media innovation and thought leadership, ensuring clients are ahead of market trends, including working closely with media partners to drive new opportunities for clients.
2. Client Leadership
- Serve as senior point of contact for senior client stakeholders, providing strategic counsel and direction.
- Be the senior client lead in region, working closely with our internal Global teams and clients to drive media performance and account efficiencies.
- Build trusted relationships with clients marketing, media, and business teams.
- Champion a results-oriented approach that connects media investment to business outcomes.
- Present strategic recommendations, performance reviews, and learning agendas to senior client leads.
3. Team & Operational Leadership
- Lead, inspire, and mentor the activation team to deliver best-in-class media thinking and executional excellence.
- Collaborate closely with strategy, data and activation to ensure consistency between planning strategy and execution.
- Guide teams in translating business challenges into actionable media plans across all channels (digital, social, programmatic, offline, etc.).
- Oversee budget planning, forecasting, and effective resource allocation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years experience in a media agency environment, with strong experience in strategic and communications planning.
- Proven experience leading major client accounts and managing senior client relationships.
- Strong understanding of both brand and performance media across digital, social, and offline channels.
- Expertise in audience planning, data-driven marketing, and effectiveness measurement.
- Excellent presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead, inspire, and grow diverse teams across markets or disciplines.
