Job Responsibilities
- Support hospital infrastructure planning and development by translating clinical service requirements into functional space and facility needs.
- Plan, lead, and coordinate user workgroup sessions, including preparation of materials and facilitation of productive workshops.
- Collaborate closely with consultants and stakeholders to develop, evaluate, and refine design options into practical design solutions.
- Act as the key liaison between users and consultants, ensuring operational requirements, workflows, interdependencies, and project updates are effectively communicated and documented.
- Monitor project timelines and coordinate stakeholders to ensure deliverables are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Review design proposals to ensure operational, technical, and design requirements are appropriately addressed and aligned with project budgets.
- Coordinate user reviews and obtain necessary approvals and sign-offs for design plans.
- Verify completed works are delivered in accordance with approved plans prior to handover.
- Work with consultants and project stakeholders to monitor defect rectification and ensure satisfactory resolution of outstanding issues.
- Support procurement and development planning by ensuring project requirements are accurately documented and incorporated into project execution.
- Keep updated on healthcare planning trends, best practices, and emerging industry developments.
- Provide support to the broader campus planning team on related projects and initiatives..
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related built environment discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in planning, design, development, or project coordination.
- Healthcare sector experience is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
- Adaptable, collaborative, and able to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and initiative.
