Job Summary
You will lead planning and scheduling for LTA projects, supporting engineers and managing construction timelines to ensure timely delivery and effective delay analysis for claims.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule construction activities for LTA projects to ensure timely progress and resource allocation
- Assist engineers by providing scheduling expertise and meeting project requirements
- Oversee preparation and monitoring of construction schedules, manning charts, and equipment needs to optimize workflow
- Identify and manage potential time impact issues, including setting up and administering the Variation Order Deduction System
- Conduct delay analyses to support claims for clients or subcontractors with accurate documentation
- Use Primavera P6 to monitor project progress and substantiate time and cost entitlements effectively
- Prepare contract programmes and high-level summary schedules for stakeholder presentations
- Monitor construction progress to identify delay events and assess their impacts on project timelines
- Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims and deliver presentations to clients to justify time extensions
- Generate progress reports, audits, S-Curves, progress trackers, and programming health checks to track project status
- Develop recovery programmes and present key recovery strategies to mitigate delays
- Prepare baseline and working programmes including resource loading for comprehensive project planning
- Perform other duties as assigned by the company to support project success
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in Primavera P6 for project scheduling and monitoring (Excellent for Primavera P6)
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or a minimum of 5 years experience in Civil Project Planning/Scheduling (Relevant tertiary qualifications or minimum 5 years Civil Project Planning/Scheduling experience)
- Skilled in preparing Extension of Time (EOT) claims with Time/Delay Analysis (EOT claim with Time/Delay Analysis)
- Competent in planning and organizing work schedules to meet project demands (Competent in planning and organizing work schedules)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working on LTA projects (Experience in LTA Project will have advantages)
