As we embark on an exciting new chapter with the launch of a new extension under the Enabling Village Masterplan, we are looking for a creative, motivated, and driven individual to join us in the role of
Manager, Placemaking & Tenancy, Enabling Village.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cultivate Meaningful Relationships: Build and nurture strong connections with the Enabling Village tenant community, external programming partners, and community groups. Work collaboratively to conceptualise, design, and implement inclusive programmes that empower and uplift persons with disabilities and their caregivers.
- Onboarding New Tenants: To identify and work with incoming tenants on onboarding matters, which could include tenants openings, marketing, disability-inclusive training and employment efforts with the relevant teams across SG Enable.
- Event and Partnership Management: Develop and execute impactful partnerships to deliver inclusive events, workshops, and activities that align with the mission of Enabling Village.
- Support Placemaking Efforts: Contribute to various placemaking initiatives that enhance the overall Enabling Village experience, including infrastructure, wayfinding, community engagement, and tenancy matters.
- Administrative andScheduling Support: Provide necessary administrative support for the department, including scheduling, coordination, invoice processing and general assistance to ensure smooth operations of all ongoing initiatives.
Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
- Diploma or Degree holder in any discipline
- Possess at least 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity. Experience in one or more of the following fields - placemaking, tenancy, events facilitation/management and/or partnership development, contract management is preferred
- A passionate and innovative individual who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solving and programme development experience, particularly in the context of inclusive, community-focused initiatives.
- A commitment to inclusion and social impact, with a genuine interest in empowering persons with disabilities and their caregivers.
- Able to work on weekends as needed to support events and programmes (with off-in-lieu days)
