What You Will Do
As our Piping BIM Engineer (1 year contract), you will:
- Create accurate 3D BIM models of piping systems, including pipes, fittings, valves, and equipment, based on P&IDs, engineering specifications, and site sketches.
- Produce 2D layouts, isometrics, shop drawings, and detail drawings directly from 3D models.
- Develop and maintain Revit project-specific M&E families and annotations, libraries, and templates.
- Ensure all models and drawings adhere to company standards, Singapore BIM standards (BCA), international codes (e.g., ASME, ASTM).
- Create 3D BIM models of piping systems, equipment
- To produce 2D AUTOCAD drawing but not limited to equipment layout, foundation drawing, piping layout, isometric drawing and other shop drawing
- To ensure all the design/proposal drawing are in accordance to specification or statutory requirement.
- To assist/prepare all As-built drawing and final drawing for submission.
- Extract material schedules and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from the model to support costing
- Other relevant adhoc duties as assigned from time to time
What We Look For
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years in piping design, drafting, or BIM modeling
- Autodesk Revit MEP: Advanced proficiency required.
- AutoCAD: Proficient.
- Understanding of piping layout principles, material selection, and 3D visualization
- Experience with prefabrication or shop drawings.
- Familiarity international code like ASME , ASTM
- Relevant site experience is a plus.
