RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide individual and group therapy under the supervision of the physiotherapists
a. Carry out therapeutic procedures under the guidance and instructions provided by the physiotherapists
b. Hold discussions with the therapists regarding clients assigned and clarify details if unsure.
c. Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism in work.
d. Update therapy notes on clients regularly.
2. Participate in therapy related activities for the clients.
a. Interact with respect with clients and their families.
b. Maintain therapeutic aids and equipment as advised by the physiotherapists
c. Help in organizing sessions and participate in them.
d. Observe physiotherapists during therapy and learn from them.
e. Make therapy materials as advised by the physiotherapists.
f. Attend Case discussion and Case presentation sessions.
g. Take responsibility in Horse Riding Program, prepare forms , contact with parents and teachers and send children to RDA and return to CPAS safely.
h. To participate in all the hydrotherapy sessions conducted by the Physiotherapist for the three programmes (EIPIC, School & AS)
3. Provide administrative support to the department and therapists.
a. Help in maintaining documentation of all planned and rendered programmes.
b. Maintain a database of all cases treated, scheduled for treatment, evaluation results and other records as per PDPA.
c. Maintain a database of department inventory.
d. Maintain a record of important events and visitors to the department.
e. Answer telephone with good etiquette, contact clients or their family members when required.
f. Attend Departmental meetings and training sessions regularly.
g. Maintain confidentiality of all information pertaining to the department and about the clients.
h. Maintain data on Home Management and Out Patient program and provide the monthly attendance list.
4. Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards.
a. Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the department.
b. Take charge of maintaining the hydrotherapy equipments and refill / replace toiletries whenever necessary.
c. Responsible for the switching off of all gadgets, equipment and lights at the end of the day.
d. Follow the safety guidelines of the department and Association
e. Keep wastage to the minimum.
5. Undertake any duties assigned by the physiotherapists and/or Head of Physiotherapy Department.
a. Assist and support of to any Training programme organized by the Department.
b. Participate in other activities organised by the Department, Association or School.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum GCE N or O level passes (HMI Certificate preferred)
Outgoing, confident, friendly, presentable appearance and pleasant disposition
Able to work in fast paced environment
Basic computer knowledge and skills (MS Word, Excel & Power Point)
