Job Summary

You will assess, treat, and rehabilitate patients using evidence-based physiotherapy methods while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and delivering excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and functional assessments to evaluate patient condition and identify rehabilitation needs
• Perform movement screening to analyze biomechanics and detect impairments affecting mobility
• Assess pain levels, range of motion (ROM), and muscle strength to inform treatment planning
• Apply manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and improve joint and soft tissue function
• Prescribe tailored exercise programs to enhance recovery and restore physical function
• Implement sports injury rehabilitation protocols to support safe return to activity
• Manage post-operative rehabilitation to facilitate healing and regain mobility
• Deliver balance, gait, and mobility training to improve patient stability and independence
• Document clinical notes, progress reports, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, home exercise programs, lifestyle modifications, and return-to-sport guidance
• Collaborate effectively with rehabilitation specialists, personal trainers, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Required competencies and certifications

• AHPC Registered Physiotherapist
• Valid Practising Certificate
• Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy
• 1-5 years clinical experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
• Experience managing sports injuries
• Experience working in private clinic settings
