About the Role
Join our team at REACH Senior Service's Senior Care Centre and make a meaningful impact on seniors lives. As a Physiotherapist, you will support rehabilitation and wellness programmes that help seniors maintain mobility, strength, and independence through safe, evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct basic physiotherapy assessments under supervision.
- Implement and monitor individualised exercise and rehabilitation programmes.
- Facilitate therapy sessions, group exercises, and mobility training.
- Maintain physiotherapy equipment and assistive devices.
- Observe, record, and report clients progress to the supervising Physiotherapist.
- Educate clients and caregivers on safe mobility and home exercises.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for holistic care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with scheduling therapy sessions.
- Support health promotion programmes and participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPC.
- Eligible for registration or conditional registration with AHPC.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in eldercare, rehabilitation, or community settings preferred.
- Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about promoting active ageing and improving seniors quality of life.
