Job Description

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Singapore CBD

About Activex

Activex Physio is a sports and musculoskeletal clinic in the CBD. Most of our patients are active people lifters, runners, performers, and others who want to keep doing the activities they care about, with less pain and more confidence.

We care about clear thinking, good communication, progressive loading, and sending people back to their sport or life feeling more capable than when they arrived. We also train ourselves, so using the barbell and treadmill as part of rehab is a normal part of how we work.

You will:

  • Look after a varied caseload including post-operative patients, athletes, and active adults.
  • Run thorough assessments and build sensible, progressive treatment plans.
  • Coach patients under load in the clinic and gym space as part of their rehab.
  • Tailor home exercises, with cues and progressions, for each individual client.
  • Explain what is going on in plain language so the plan makes sense to the person in front of you.
  • Communicate with coaches, doctors, and other referrers when needed.
  • Contribute to internal education, case discussions, and occasional workshops or events.

Who this suits

You are:

  • Bachelor's-qualified in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered (or eligible to register) with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore, and able to obtain/hold appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
  • Actively training now, or with a genuine history in sport, strength training, running, dance, or similar.
  • Comfortable using barbells, plyometrics, and conditioning as normal parts of rehab when appropriate.
  • Able to take a complex clinical picture and explain it in a way a tired office worker at 7 p.m. can still understand.
  • Ok with your notes, plans, and videos being reviewed and discussed.
  • Organised, on time, and reasonably calm when the list is full.

All levels of experience are welcome. If you train seriously, think clearly, and learn fast, you will get the support you need to grow into the role.

What we offer

  • Flexible appointment lengths so you have time to assess, coach, and progress people properly.
  • A caseload that leans towards strength sports, runners, post-op, and active professionals.
  • A well-equipped rehab and performance space.
  • Regular access to senior staff for supervision, case reviews, and bouncing ideas around.
  • Involvement in gym collaborations, workshops, and event coverage where it makes sense.
  • A small, supportive team that values high standards, honest communication, and genuine development.
  • Generous commission rates with a clear path of progression.
  • Weekly onboarding and follow-up sessions for the first 8 weeks so you are not left to figure it out alone.
  • Annual professional development allowance.
  • Ongoing professional development via group and individual case studies.

Non-negotiables

  • You train, or have trained, seriously enough to know what it feels like to chase a physical goal and not always hit it.
  • You recommend only what you can defend clinically and ethically.
  • You are consistently on time for patients and for team commitments.
  • You can give and receive direct feedback.
